About Diversity Dragons

Diversity Dragons exists to help people make sense of difference — in learning, emotion, identity, and nervous systems — without reducing those differences to problems that need fixing.

We work with families, educators, organisations, and individuals who are navigating complexity and want language, structure, and compassion to guide the way forward.

At the heart of our work is a simple belief:

Difference is not a deficit — it is a landscape that can be mapped, understood, and supported.

Our Approach

This belief is expressed through the Dragon Atlas — a neuroaffirming framework that blends psychology, storytelling, and lived experience.

The Dragon Atlas offers a shared way of making sense of how people experience the world — how they think, feel, and cope with everyday demands.

We look at what someone is responding to, what they are holding, and how support can reduce load rather than increase it.

This creates space for insight, regulation, and meaningful change without shame or pressure.

Insight begins as a spark — a quiet knowing that reshapes the world from within

What We Offer

Diversity Dragons currently offers:

  • parent consultations

  • school support and collaboration

  • workshops and professional learning

  • reflective mapping sessions using the Dragon Atlas

For many individuals, Dragon Mapping is a helpful place to begin — especially when something feels hard to articulate, but clearly needs attention.

All work is paced, collaborative, and grounded in neuroaffirming, evidence-informed practice.

If you’re not sure where to start, that’s okay.
You don’t need the right words or a clear plan.

You’re welcome to reach out and begin where you are.
